Sometimes, we cannot do so perfectly, but what is important, is that every year, we should be improving... We need help from everyone. We have to work together." Mayor Vic Paul Salarda supported this notion, saying that "We are calling out to the public and Filipino people. We have to start discipline within ourselves, especially when it comes to our garbage. This is a good venue for us to help one another. One littered candy wrapper from one person might seem small, but just imagine how many think the same way. We have to change that."

Dr. Rosalinda Cortez stated that the event was history, as it was the first event celebrating the founding anniversary of SBPS that call upon all its stakeholders to join the celebrations. PASu Ologuin presented the major activities planned for SBPS Week and requested the media to assist the PAMB in disseminating these events to the public to encourage their participation to the SBPS Week Celebrations. These activities include the following:

If everybody holds hands together, doing this promotion on Sarangani Bay and what the environment is about, I thank the media because you are our voice. It is through you that people will get inspired, as many avenues as we can, so that we can continue to save this planet, save our Sarangani Bay, so we still have another generation who can enjoy it as much as we have.”
