 Philippine Flying Lemur Rescued

MAITUM, Sarangani (August 11, 2017) - Regie Batiller (not in the picture), a resident of Barangay Mabay, rescued this Philippine Flying Lemur or locally known as "kagwang" kagat Sitio Kitae, Barangay Tuanadatu on August 8. The female Philippine Flying Lemur had two bullet wounds in her legs and given first aid treatment by injecting multi vitamins and spraying antibiotics on her swollen wounds conducted by Toto Delcano of the Office of Municipal Agriculturist.  The lemur will be referred to the Provincial Environmental and Natural Resources Office for further examination and observation before releasing her back to her natural habitat.
